Our college has a very good infrastructure....The campus size is decent with three floors and over 200 rooms and its quite well maintained. All the classrooms are very neat. Being a chemistry student, I really like our practical labs. Libraries in our college are fully air conditioned, though some books in the library are outdated.Total 6 computer labs are there. Wi-Fi facility is also available in our college. The canteen is quite hygenic, the food is very delicious ,prices are pocke friendly.
Since i am a student of chemistry hons, so i mostly know about the academics of science department only. Academics wise also, the college is very good. The curriculum of DU may be a bit old but the quality of education is very good out there. Most of the teachers in chemistry department are amazing and quite supportive too. You will get many research opportunities and a chance to do summer internshios under the guidance of faculties.
There is a society in the college named 'The Placement Cell' which is responsible for inviting the companies for placements and internships. internship fairs are also organised by this society which are very beneficial for students. But most of the placements and internships are related to marketing and business management . Though most of them are open for all the students but there are no or less internships specifically for science students. Commerce students may expect very good packages.
As the college is govt funded ,so the fees is quite affordable. My course fee is just 45,000 ( for all the 3 years). Since the quality of education is very good, you will not regret even a penny.
The campus life is very good out there. The best thing is that the college is very close to Satyaniketan. There are many hangout places in satyaniketan and if you live in satyaniketan, you wilk save all your travelling time. Another great thing is that the college is just beside the Durgabaib deshmukh south campus metro station.
Highly recommended college, you can go for it.
Being one of th best college of Delhi University, Sri Venkateswara College have one of the best infrastructure with all the facilities and equipments. The college have a cricket ground that is quite popular. Classrooms are well equipped, spacious and well furnished. As being a student of chemistry major, the laboratory for me was best part among all. Whole campus is provided with wifi service. Library of the college is awesome. They have a special library for Chemistry hons students.
I am currently pursuing bsc from chemistry hons. I like chemistry very much and the faculty of my department is quite good. They used to organise webinar with the university of many foreign countries. The curriculum in every college of Delhi University is updated regularly with no doubt. Recently many webinar was organized on corona pandemic. So we can say that they include all the recent news and development. They provide good quality of education that helps students to get job ready.
Placement cell of the college helps students to get placed with a good packages. But they particularly help the students of commerce background to get placed. There is no placement offers for the students of science or arts background. Average package offered was 5 lacs and the highest package offered was 15 lacs till date. The student from the college got placed in many popular campany like detolite, Oracle, great learning, Neerinfo Solutions, etc. College is very supportive in every aspect.
For Chemistry hons, fees for first year was around 13 thousand and the education that I am getting is very good. As it is a government funded college that's why fees is very less as campared to other private colleges. I think they value for money and I am feeling my money was worth of it as the quality of education I am getting.
The campus is lush green spread in 15 acres with hostile environment. The college have one of the biggest ground in DU. It really provides great opportunities for students who really want to excel in sports. The crowd of the college is quite popular and is very good. Faculty is very interactive. The college is at minimum walking distance from Durgabai Deshmukh South campus metro station and best thing is that it is near Satya Niketan. Location is very safe.
Good college with all required facilities.
Sri Venkateswara College infrastructure and crowd are amazing. They have all the necessary facilities like their classrooms are well furnished, big library with proper ventilation, huge sports ground and a garden. College canteen is also great and have varieties of food and outside the college there is a whole food hub which is Satya niketan.
I have pursued B.Com and the teachers of the course and also the other faculty teachers are amazing and very helpful. During my time, course curriculum was always updated and includes every developments as per the requirement.
Placements of our college is good, although I didn't sat for the placement but many top companies offers for placement. Our placement cell is very active and provides each and every information related to any internships and jobs.
Infrastructure wise it's one of the better colleges of Delhi University. The college has a big ground, ample sports facilities, maintained library, labs and classrooms. Canteen is also fine. Ofcourse infrastructure wouldnt be to the level of private or international Colleges.
As per my experience academics in commerce dept. is average. Syllabus in DU is old. But teachers are really cooperative. Teachers in science dept. are amazing though. I had a chance to study in maths, electronics and statistics dept. and the teachers were one of the best I have ever seen.
The placements are better than average. Don't keep high hopes while coming to DU. After SRCC, LSR, Hansraj and Hindu, Venky comes next in terms of placements but the gap is huge. Highest goes till 15 LPA and average around 4 LPA.
All DU colleges are value for money.
Can't say much.
I can definitely recommend this college to anyone have scored the % required to get in, if you are looking for colleges in DU. If you have other options like SXC or IPM, then choose that.
The infrastructure of Sri Venkateswara is accommodative of the populace. Students can get well-seated, no matter in whatever branch they're from. There are furnished classrooms with spacious tables and comfortable chairs. As a batch of 2022, we had a short experience in college, however, we got lucky enough to see the new building that had bigger classrooms and a well-equipped lab that was meant for science students with the latest equipment. We felt the labs contained the basic amenities.
Physics honors has been my subject of interest since I was in school and hence took it up in graduation. The professors are soft-spoken and responsive for both academics as well as other activities, be it internships or writing a recommendation letter to their students. Yes, the course has been made in tandem with the market needs, however, getting a master's degree feels better since it furnishes the knowledge that we've attained by giving us a purely experimental experience.
The placement is decent. I didn't apply at many places, but from what I've heard, they provide a range of opportunities ranging from the minimal to higher such as finances. The highest package was 2 lakh per month given in finance to one student from the maths department. Every year there's a placement and internship fair that gives opportunities to the newcomers and recruits on the basis of resume and interview, they are decent places of work, I myself have worked for an NGO.
Being a central university, the fees were marginal. We paid nearly 14k per month for the exams and the year-long classes combined. Yes, I feel I got the exposure to experiments the way it was meant to be. We had fellowships and scholarships for the science batches and some of my classmates got into it as well. We had regular fests that helped us better understand other departments of science as well in addition to ours.
The canteen is everyone's hangout spot and the south Indian food is the specialty. I would eat chili potato every other day and dosas, upma as well. There was a newly created Nescafe that gave maggie. The cold coffee and green tea were the other attractions of the college canteens. The staff is friendly and generous. Physics professors help their students with the admin work since they have sources there. Overall, there were no complains from the college as such. Everyone's helpful and friendly.
Our college has all the necessary infrastructure. The library is well-ventilated with a very large variety of books. It has a huge cricket ground, another garden for just sitting there and studying, an auditorium and also labs with perfectly working equipments. I didn't go the hostel but it does have one and it is very well- maintained.
My college is famous for the science faculty there and being a mathematics student, I can vouch for the same. The teachers are very nice, friendly and acquire a deep understanding of the subject. The peers are also very talented and there's so much to learn from them as well. My curriculum was updated two years back, and the teachers also encouraged us to take part in competitive exams on international level.
Although I didn't sit for placements from the college, my friends did and they got very nice placements this year even after the pandemic scenario. Not many companies came in the college to give placements this year, consequence of pandemic, but still few students did got a very handsome package. The placement cell of our college is very supportive and helps in the entire journey of the placement.
Totally. Mine is one of the best college in the delhi university and it so deserves the title.
There are many societies, many clubs and many fests that keep happening inside the college, so campus life is pretty nice. The students are friendly and from various states throughout the country. The college is in Delhi having around five guards present at all times making it safe and to handle the emergencies.
The college building is a bit underwhelming at first glance as compared to reputation of the college but it does not lack in any facility. Labs well equipped ,good library ,garden, canteen and field. Sports department is heaven for cricketers. Rishabh Pant visits frequently as he is an alumini . No basketball court.
I am studying life sciences as zoology ,chemistry ,botany interest me and help develop a scientefic aptitute. SEC helps in practical skills like aquariums ,medical diagnostics, biofertilizers ,etc. Teachers are suppprtive. I think one should not expect lucrative career in sciences with just this bachelors degree as much of it is basics of variety of field. If one has to go further in science as per me MSc. will be required.
Placement cell is active , mainly marketing and sales related jobs are offered as far as i know. i have not heard of science placements. Even if there are , it is few in number. I heard of a senior getting 17 lpa package from DeShaw.
~15000 p. a ofcource value for money for all the facilities provided. Definitely worth it . Main cost is of living in delhi.
Plethora of co-cirricular activities available. Amazing societies. Location is south Delhi so.. you can go to clubs, cafes, monuments , fancy places via metro or cab. Venky os famous for its fests although 2020 one was okayish . RIP fest 2021:(
College have best infrastructure with all necessary things as like library with many literature and books a well equipped labs with all modern equipments. A big computer lab. Also wifi network is available .
I am studying life sciences program course in which i study all subjects of science except physics that is chemistry botany and zoology. My course curriculum is fully updated with all new invention and discovery.
Placement is good in my college . My college have good placement cell. Average placement from my college is nearly 7 lacs. Also for good placement our college organise placement fair every year in which many companies came.
A good value for money my course fees have 14 to 16 thousands nearly. This fees is nearly okk for middle class students which take a good education from a best college like Venkateswara college and also in du.
Campus life is perfect College have big canteen as well as a Nescafé and Maggie point also college have a bank inside campus a big hostels also a botanical garden and rock garden a big auditorium for students.
Overall my experience is very well in sri Venkateswara college. The college which i seen in films same as Venkateswara life. I was really happy to study in Delhi university and in sri Venkateswara college.
Yes my college have all the necessary infrastructure facilities like we have a good library with nearly 2 lac books have well maintained labs with all equipments. College have big ICT lab where a big server WiFi is available.
I am studying life science. Because I want to become a researcher in biology or any science feild that's why I choose life science. My course have a 3 subjects chemistry botany and zoology with fully update curriculum.
I am new in Venkateswara and also I am in first year so I didn't know about placements but i know that average placements are of nearly seven lacs to 10 lac. Also college have separate placement cell.
My course cost is about fifteen thousand I think this is perfect for my course that I take a good education in this low values which is very best thing of Venkateswara. I am getting my money worth with good facilities.
My campus life is very best its too cool I feel very happy in campus. My campus have a canteen special nesscaffe and Maggi pointit have a botanical garden and rock garden where students study as well as play.
Venky is brand tag and a best college on du.
The infrastructure was really good with all the facilities and equipments. The laboratories , libraries , sports center and hostels are maintained with all advanced facilities. Also there is a hygienic environment in the college.
Our college provides quality education with well develoed facilities and the teachers are very good and experienced with friendly nature and maintains a healthy student teacher relationship with us. also they are too helping.
Being a science student I don't know much about placements but yes as far as I heard our college provides high salary package and best quality of placements to students and the process was easy and pleasant to students also the college was too supportive.
Our college is under University of Delhi costs very reasonable amount of fees on students. Our course fee is around 16k per year.which according to me is worth as it provides us the best of everything .
Our college has many societies which a student can enroll according to his interests. The campus has a large ground with courts of different games. The staff was very supportive and being the college of South Delhi it is the best location and is surrounded by other colleges.
According to me Venky is the best college for a student who want his all round development and want to explore himself in the new world. As it transforms a studious student to a all rounder student (if the student shows interest in development in other fields).

Hello,
Yes, with a rank of 12004 in AP EAPCET and BC-D category, you have a good chance of getting a seat in B.Pharmacy at Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati.
The closing rank for BC-D category in B.Pharmacy at SVU is usually much higher than your rank, so your chances are strong. You can expect a seat in the first or second round of counselling.
Hope it helps !
With a 29,000 rank in AP EAMCET under BC-B category, getting into CSE or ECE at Sri Venkateswara University (SVUCE) is unlikely, as those branches typically require much better ranks.
However, you have a strong chance for Mechanical Engineering there. In past years, the BC-B closing rank for Mechanical at SVUCE was around 83,000. You may also have a chance for EEE or Civil engineering.
If you need help with filling your choices during counselling or want to look at other colleges, just let me know.
