Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nursing is a four-year full-time program that is the undergraduate level in the nursing course offered by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).


Eligibility Criteria

A candidate seeking admission to the first Basic B Sc Nursing course:

Shall have passed two years Pre University examination conducted by the Department of Pre University Education, Karnataka State, with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects. The candidate shall have passed subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology individually and must have obtained a minimum of not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB taken together in the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together in the qualifying examination shall not be less than 40% instead of 50% as above.

Age

The candidate should have completed 17 years on or before the 31st day of December of the year of admission.

Admission Details

Admission through the Karnataka Common Entrance Test will be conducted by the KEA, and students from Karnataka as well as non-Karnataka students must appear for the Test
