Chemistry programmes, 36 students are accepted for each, while B.Sc. Physics can accommodate a maximum of 24 candidates. It was kept scientific businesses in mind during which admission to the courses was entirely based on the score attained by a candidate in the qualifying examination, that is, 10+2.
B.Com Programme: The college has a B.Com degree programme with computer applications, admitting 32 learners. Students who have completed their 10+2 levels in commerce or its equivalent are free to apply. Selection is primarily made on the merit of marks secured in the qualifying examination.
BA Programmes: With 24 seats each for History and English, St. Mary's College offers BA programmes. St Mary's College admission is done purely based on merit on marks secured in the qualifying examination, and has a bias towards those who have studied relevant subjects at the 10+2 level.
M.Sc Programmes: Also offered are M.Sc. facilitating in Zoology, Chemistry, and Environmental Science, spreading admission to 20 students in M.Sc. Zoology and 10 students in M.Sc. Chemistry. Eligibility to apply lies with those who have completed their Bachelor's degree in only the relevant science discipline. Graduation marks may be taken into consideration for admission and, in rare cases, the entrance exam/interview.
M.Com Programme: The M.Com programme (Financial Management) admits 30 students. Admission is open for graduates of B.Com or an equivalent degree. The selection will be based on the total marks obtained during graduation and any other criteria as specified by the college.
MA Programme: St. Mary's College offers an MA in English with an intake of 15 seats. Qualified candidates for the position must have a bachelor's degree in English or any other relevant subject. Admission would be based, inter alia, on marks obtained in graduation, and, in some instances, based on entrance tests or interviews.
