Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Advanced Zoology and Biotechnology is a three-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by Stella Maris College, Chennai and affiliated to University of Madras, Chennai.

Eligibility Criteria

A person, who have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) with subjects Biology, Chemistry and Microbiology (or) Botany, Zoology, Chemistry / Biotechnology or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.

Admission Details

All UG departments conduct interviews and selection is done based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The Fine Arts Department administer an entrance test for the Bachelor of Visual Arts programme to assess the aptitude and creativity of the candidates.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is very well equipped and built for a college started around the nineteens. Its got all the RO water facilities and a canteen with the digital screen for ordering. It has all classrooms properly ventilated

College Infrastructure

The college has equipments and laboratories. The library is well maintained and good . A new block has also been built so that there are enough classrooms .There is a basketball court , tennis court and NCC ground which are also well maintained.There is the main canteen where you can buy meals, then two small ones where you can get snacks.The food is hygienic and cheap. Although the college as a whole is small , it is well maintained .There is no transportation(unless the college takes you out).
