36 MonthsDiploma in Mechanical Engineering is a three-year full-time course offered by the Directorate of Technical Education, Panchkula, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
A Candidate should Pass in 10th examination from the Board of School Education, Haryana, or an equivalent examination from a recognized board/ university.
Lateral Entry:
- All those candidates who have passed ITI at least one year (who passed 10th level school leaving examination before admission to ITI courses), 10+2 (vocational), or 10+2 with PCM would be eligible for consideration for lateral entry. Candidates who have appeared/ are appearing in the qualifying ITI or 10+2 with PCM or 10+2 vocational examination to be held during the current session shall also be eligible to apply for admission but they shall obtain the requisite qualification before the last date of admission.
Admission Details
- For Admission under 75% of allotted seats the application form issued by the Haryana State Counseling Society, Panchkula shall be submitted to the HSCS through various Govt. Polytechnics in the State of Haryana along with OMR and attested copies of mark sheet of qualifying examination for preparing merit list. Order of merit shall be decided on the basis of the percentage of aggregate marks obtained in qualifying exams in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics, and English. However, for candidates obtaining equal marks in qualifying exams, the candidate with higher marks in chemistry will be placed at the higher merit. If the candidate has the same marks in chemistry, the candidate having higher marks in physics will be placed at a higher merit. For the candidate having the same marks in physics, the senior in age will be placed at higher merit.
- For admission under 25% allotted institutional seats in all the above-mentioned courses, the eligible conditions shall be the same as prescribed by the Haryana State Counseling Society, Panchkula on behalf of Govt. of Haryana, However, the merit list shall be prepared at the institutional level as per the direction of the State Govt.
