GATE 2024 registrations are open. Admit cards will be issued by the first week of January 2024.
On 8th September, TKM College of Engineering was awarded for outstanding performance in hosting MakerStation, an all-Kerala project expo supported by TinkerHub Foundation and Amazon.
On September 12, TKM College of Engineering initiated the Student Induction Programme (SIP) 2023.

TKM College of Engineering, Kollam established in 1958 is the first government-aided engineering college in Kerala. TKMCE Kollam is affiliated with the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). TKMCE Kollam courses include B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech and MCA. TKM College of Engineering courses are offered in different branches like Computer Science Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Applications, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and many more. Central Sector Scholarship	The Ministry of Human Resource Development provides the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students to provide financial assistance to economically disadvantaged students from the general, SC, ST, and physically handicapped communities.

Lakshadweep Scholarship	Scholarships are provided by the Government of India (Lakshadweep Administration) to Lakshadweep island residents who study on the mainland.
IOCL Scholarship	Indian Oil Corporation Ltd offers 600 scholarships to students pursuing professional degrees. The student's family's annual gross income from all sources should not exceed Rs.1 lakh.
EGRANTZ Scholarship	Kerala SC (Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribe) Development Department provides Post Matric Scholarships to students from the SC/ST/SEBC/OEC/FC communities who are socially and economically disadvantaged. Students enrolled in university/board-approved post-secondary courses. SC/ST/OEC students have no income restrictions, whereas SEBC/FC students' family income cannot exceed Rs.1 lakh.
TKM MCM Scholarship	This scholarship was established with the help of the college's management, faculty, staff, and alumni to assist needy students based on their academic performance and financial background.
SNEHAPOORVAM Scholarship	The Kerala Government launched "SNEHAPOORVAM" to provide financial support to orphans living in the family, with relatives, or with friends under the Social Welfare Department implemented through the Social Security Mission to extend a helping hand to orphans families by providing financial assistance to children's education.
