University College, Ghanaur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a magnificent library with about 5000 books on various subjects in an open, airy and unique building. It has been kept up to date with the inclusion of books in various languages published from time to time. In the open study room of the library, students have the facility to read all the major newspapers and magazines in Punjabi, Hindi, and English.

Born and brought up in the fields of rural Punjab and Haryana, college students have an innate enthusiasm for games. Therefore, the sports department of the college prepares and encourages students to participate in Inter-college events and tournaments in the games like Volleyball, Athletics, Kabaddi, Tug of war, Boxing, Badminton, etc. The college has also hosted Inter-college events on the college campus like Inter-college Judo and Gatka Competitions, to name a few. Besides, an Annual Athletic Meet is a special yearly event organized by the department. Needless to say, the youth’s orientation for drug intake can be checked by channelizing their energy and attention towards games.
