Uttar Pradesh Institute of Design and Research, Lucknow Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College has library is being developed as a state–of–the–art state library and information center in design. The book collection of the library consists of textbooks, reference books, back volumes of periodicals, and many more. Books are arranged by decimal numbers using the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) scheme, and each book is assigned a DDC number which represents the subject of the book.

The lab facilities that offer comprehensive hands-on experience in garment production, from pattern making to sewing and finishing. UPIDR Lucknow lab facilities include cutting-edge machinery like industrial sewing machines, pattern drafting tools, and fabric-cutting equipment, aiding students in mastering various techniques.

Uttar Pradesh Institute of Design and Research has separate boys’ hostels within the campus with accommodation for students and interns. The hostels are well-equipped with a mess, common room, sick room, guest room and recreation area.

The College has hostels for girls. UPIDR Lucknow hostel facilities include spacious rooms and common areas for recreational activities and studying.

Uttar Pradesh Institute of Design and Research has advanced classroom facilities available for Students. The digital classroom enhances the student learning experience.

Facilities are available for indoor games such as carrom, table tennis, and chess, as well as outdoor sports including cricket, football, and volleyball.
