24 MonthsMaster of Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc) in Veterinary Anatomy and Histology is a full-time two-year postgraduate course offered by the Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University, Bidar and Approved by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate shall possess a Bachelor’s degree in the respective subject.
- The candidate shall have 6.00/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks for the general category and 5.5/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks for SC/ST/Cat-I candidates at the bachelor’s degree level.
- The candidate shall be a citizen of India and must have studied in any educational institution in Karnataka State for a period of seven academic years at any time up to the Bachelor’s degree as of 1st July of the admission year. [Not applicable to candidates who are GOK, GOI, ICAR nominees, NRIs, and Foreign Nationals (FN)].
Admission Details
Selection for the master's degree program will be done on the basis of the student’s performance in a bachelor's degree program and a written test conducted by the University. The written test for admission will be of undergraduate level and will contain 100 objective-type questions with four responses. Due weightage is also given to the students who have the medals won in academics, sports, and cultural activities, passed in ICAR/JRF examinations and those students who are Physically handicapped / Anglo-Indians / Scouts & Guides / Children of ExServicemen / Defense personnel.
