72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Veterinary Anatomy and Histology shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, offered by the Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University, Bidar, and Approved by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidates should possess a Master's Degree in respective subjects.
- Candidate should have OGPA of 6.50/10 or equivalent percentage of marks for general category and 6.00/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks for SC/ST/Cat-I/ candidates at Master’s degree level.
Admission Details
Selection for the Doctoral degree program will be done on the basis of the student’s performance in a Master degree program and written test conducted by the University. The written test for admission will contain 100 objective-type questions with four responses. Due weightage is also given to those students who have research publications, won medals in academics, sports, and cultural activities, passed in ICAR/CSIR-SRF/ NET examinations and those students who are Physically handicapped / Anglo-Indians / Scouts & Guides / Children of Ex-Servicemen / Defence personnel.
