72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Mathematics shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, the course offered by Alagappa University, Karaikudi.
Eligibility Criteria
The minimum qualifications and other eligibility criteria for admission are M.Sc. Degree in Mathematical Sciences/ Applied Mathematics. Ph.D. Mathematics is a broad-based course involving a minimum course credit requirement and a research thesis.
