No few chances are there to get a placement. Absolutely not recommended. But you will acquire skills and experience which will guide you in your future endeavours. Faculties will play a greater role to decide your career also they may help students out in case of placement.

Placements
There were small placement starters for academic degrees which is a first in Kolkata. A few from the english dept were scouted as reviewers for top online merchant companies like Amazon, Myntra around 2019. However to expect an academic college to provide placements like a technical one is unrealistic

Unfortunately it is very sad that there was no placement from my department. If there was placement facility then it was very helpful for the students for secured future. Hopefully in future the college authority will look into the matter.
