Xavier Law School, Bhubaneswar-an establishment of Xavier University-is oriented towards upholding quality education in law. Application Process

The application process for Xavier Law School differs from program to program:

1. For BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) programs:

  • Appear for the Xavier Law Entrance Test (XEST) or for any other accepted entrance exam like CLAT or AILET.
  • The Xavier Law School official website has all the information regarding the application and the deadlines.
  • Fill out and submit the duly completed application form, along with documents as required.
  • The application fee prescribed by the institution must be paid.

2. For Ph.D. programs:

  • Get Ph.D. admission announcement from the official website.
  • A research proposal must be prepared in the area of law that is chosen.
  • The application form must be submitted along with certificates regarding academic qualifications and a research proposal.
  • Shortlisted candidates may be called for an interview or written test.

Degree wise Admission Process

BA LLB (Hons) is a Five years integrated undergraduate program with a capacity intake of 60 seats. Admission into the program is granted based on the performance of the candidate in the Xavier Law Entrance Test (XEST) or some other equivalent All India Law Entrance Tests like CLAT or AILET. This degree is structured as a day-in-day-out program enabling flexibility for the benefit of the students.

BBA LLB (Hons)-Similar to the BA LLB program, admission for five years integrated course does consider scores from XEST, CLAT, or AILET for admission. While the exact number of seats is not specified, admissions and the admission process remain similar to those of BA LLB.
