In 2018, AIIMS MBBS, a percentile of 98.49 was the cut off for SC Category for AIIMS Jodhpur. Now AIIMS exam pattern and marking scheme are different from than that of NEET. While AIIMS MBBS was conducted for 200 marks and also included English and GK sections while NEET is conducted for 720 marks and only in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Now AIIMS releases its results in the form of percentiles while NEET releases its score in the form of marks. So going by this, you will need more than 600. Might be 625 will be a safe score given the fact that 98 percentile is a higher cut off. This is an estimated cut off, And cut offs might change depending on various factors. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. If you are are appearing for NEET 2020, The MHRD has come up with a new schedule for JEE Mains, JEE Advanced and NEET 2020. JEE Main examination will be held between 1st-6th Sept, JEE advanced exam will be held on 27th Sept & NEET examination will be held on 13th Sept. Hello

it is the first time ever when AIIMS are conducting admission through neet  examination so predicting cut off marks is quite difficult for Aiims

Also,

cut off marks will depend upon various factors like kind of marks obtained by students in the examination , toughness level of the neet examination etc and AIIMS will be providing admission through all India quota for which cutoff marks goes high

keeping these things in mind you should target at least around 630-640 marks at least in your neet examination if you want to get a seat in Aiims jodhpur if you belong to sc category

Thank you

Hi

All the  Aiims will be offering admission in MBBS through all India quota and cut off for all India quota is quite high, also AIIMS are  the most reputed Medical colleges in our country and due to this competition for a seat in AIIMS will be tough and thus cut off marks for AIIMS Jodhpur is expected to be higher than SMS JAIPUR.

Now, It is extremely difficult to predict marks required by you to get a seat in AIIMS Jodhpur as
it is the first time ever when AIIMS are conducting admission through neet examination  .
Also , cut off marks will depend upon various factors like kind of marks obtained by students in the examination , toughness level of the neet examination etc.
Also, seats are very limited in AIIMS ,keeping these things in mind you should target around 650 marks at least in your neet examination if you want to get a seat in Aiims Jodhpur

Thank you

Hello Damini

Hope that your neet preparation is going well

It is extremely difficult to predict marks required by you to get a seat in AIIMS Jodhpur aur any other Aiims

This is because,

Earlier admission in aiims was on the basis of Aiims mbbs entrance examination and this it is the first time ever when AIIMS will be conducting admission through neet ,

Also cut off marks for medical colleges including aiimd will depend upon various factors like

number of students that appeared in the neet entrance exam, kind of marks obtained by students in the examination ,toughness level of the neet examination etc.

But yes getting into aiims is not going to be easy as seats are very limited and the competition is huge for Aiims Jodhpur and all the other aAiims
considering these things,
you should target around 650 marks at least in your neet examination if you want to get a seat in Aiims Jodhpur if you belong to general category

Thankyou

While studying MBBS, you get to study Medicine for 50 months and then complete the 1 year mandatory internship. You learn everything required for treating patients during this 50 months. Research in AIIMS is for Postgraduate Candidates and others and not MBBS students. Please read about the research department at AIIMS at: http://researchsection.aiims.edu/rsection/home.aspx

Hello Puttaswamy ,

AIIMS would always be superior then any of the College that you have mentioned above .

All the best for your future !

Hello Puttaswamy,

The final decision would be yours considering your preferences like which College is nearer to you ,the course fee etc .But according to me you should go for AIIMS because AIIMS is a national institute and would be better then the Mysore Medical College .

All the best for your future .Hope I have resolved the query .
