Hello there!
Greetings!
Yes , dear Aiims and Jipmer have been scrapped off ,  it was  Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Minister of Health and Family Welfare who announced on October 4, 2019 that NEET will serve as single medical entrance exam for UG courses in the nation and admission in all the medical colleges of India including all the AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER will be on the basis of neet, so yes aiims and jipmer are included in neet. So since now neet is the single entrance to get into medical colleges,  you need to prepare well for it , you should go through past year papers and mock tests as well.  Good luck
Thankyou

Hello there!

Greetings!

First I want to clear that students with biology as an additional subject are eligible for neet , earlier students with biology as an additional subjects were not eligible but then this rule was lifted off and thus now students with biology as an additional subject are eligible for neet and since aiims and Jipmer have been scrapped off, admission to all the medical colleges of India including all the aiims and Jipmer will be based on neet marks,To be eligible for Neet you need to be at least 17 years old and General category candidatesmust have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in physics, chemistry, biology/ biotechnology. For the SC/ ST/ OBC candidates, the minimum marks er 40% whilePWD category should have 45% marks,so you need to prepare well for neet as there's no option other than than neet to get into medical colleges.

Thankyou

Hello Akash,
No, there will be only one medical entrance exam conducted from 2020 to get admission in MBBS that is through NEET.Entrance exam like AIIMS, JIPMER will not be conducted from 2020.Hence, there we will be only one common entrance exam for all undergraduate medical courses.

Hello there!
Greetings!
Now that aiims and Jipmer have been scrapped off and admission will be based on performance in neet , its not going to be easy to get into aiims and Jipmer as these will among the top priority among students so cut off marks for aiims and Jipmer will be obviously high , so if you want to get into aiims and Jipmer you will have to aim to get at least 600+ marks,  better you should  try to get around 650 marks to be on safer side.
Thankyou

Dear Vanee,  AIIMS and JIPMER have been scrapped off this year. Now there won't be any separate exam for AIIMS and JIPMER.

NEET score will be considered for admission in all the AIIMS and colleges related to JIPMER.

Since AIIMS follows percentile criteria so it's difficult to predict how the admissions will be granted.

Till now the information is that NEET score will be considered for admission in AIIMS and JIPMER related colleges.

All the best

Hope this helps

Hello there!

Greetings!

Now that AIIMS has been cancelled and admission to all the aiims is going to be conducted on the basis of marks obtained by you in neet and it is going to be for the first time, it's really difficult to predict what marks will fetch you a seat in Aiims , Rishikesh but it is for sure that getting into aiims will be the priority of students and thus cut off will be high for aiims so you need to score at least 600 + marks to get into Aiims Rishikesh better aim to get between around 650 marks to be on safer side.

Thankyou

Good Luck!

Hello,
.
Yes, AIIMS paper has been cancelled and also JIPMER examination had been cancelled. Only NEET has been made as single entry system into Medical streams and colleges.
.
So, from 2020 only NEET will be conducted. One who were preparing for AIIMS and JIPMER, just don't worry, syllabus will be the same just examinations have been cancelled.

Dear Aspirant,

Nothing can be said for sure as this is happening for the very first time and we don't know what to expect, however, with the inclusion of JIPMER and NEET, you can expect certain changes but one thing is sure that you have to put in a lot of effort if you are aiming for AIIMS as it will be the first choice of students anyway.

Hope this helps. Thank you.

Dear Aspirant,

As per the latest announcements, AIIMS and JIPMER are merged with the NEET from 2020. So in the NEET 2020, there is inclusion of both of these exams and there will be no separate exam for AIIMS and JIPMER. Admission to both of these colleges and other medical college will be through NEET rank.

Hope this helps. Thank you.
