BU Bhopal Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The University has three boys' hostels on the campus. The mess is run by the students cooperatively. Application forms for hostel admission are available at the hostel offices. Boys hostel Wardens Dr Hemant Khandai, Dr Sunil K. Snehi, Dr Kapil Soni.

The University has three girls’ hostels on campus. The mess is run by the students cooperatively. Application forms for admission to the hostels are available in the respective hostels' offices. The Girl's hostel wardens are Dr. Anita Dhurvey, Dr. Roopali Shevalkar, and Dr. Vinisha Singh.

The University has a functional library with a good inventory of books to enhance students' academic and intellectual knowledge. The library also has access to various journals, research papers, e-books, magazines, and other study materials for developing their mind.

The university has useful labs for students to learn and perform practical applications of their subjects. The laboratories are equipped with all required apparatuses and materials to support smooth experiments.

The University has an auditorium, which has sufficient seating capacity for students. Events such as talk shows, presentations, guest lectures, and cultural activities are held there. The auditorium is also well-equipped technically and logistically.

The University computer center includes multiple sets of computers that can allow the students to browse the internet with the help of a high-speed internet connection. The students can also make use of photocopy machines and printers to download important data immediately and bear a soft copy of the same.

The University has a medical block consisting of a doctor and a few paramedical staff members situated on the premises of the University. The students, as well as all the members of the university, can visit the medical block for check-ups. The medical staff is available whenever called. An ambulance facility is also provided to tend to emergencies.

The University consists of multiple cafeterias that serve healthy food and drinks to the students as well as all the other members of the institute. The food in the cafeteria is freshly prepared and hygienic.

The University encourages students to participate in different sports activities and competitions. Equal importance is given to sports as well as academics. There are different courts built on the campus that the students can use for playing sports. The equipment needed for playing both indoor and outdoor sports is facilitated by the university.
