Hello there. After the merit list of the spot round is declared, then you have to report to the college which has been assigned to you in the merit list. If you get IIIT Raipur, then you need to report at the same college.
Hi
NIT raipur is somewhat better than the rest two, i.e. IIIT Naya Raipur and Bangalore Institute of Technology. It is further an institute with decent placements as compared to these. Also, as compared to these, it has a decent NIRF Ranking too, which IIIT Raipur does not have.
Still if you have an inclination towards a certain branch which you might not get in NIT Raipur, then go for it. Interest of study in students is one of the biggest criteria in choosing a right college and branch for the student.
If you feel to study CS then choose Bangalore Institute of Technology. If AI then IIIT Naya Raipur. Or if you don't prefer any, then certainly go for NIT Raipur.
Best of Luck.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
Hello,
According to 2018 cutoffs, with this rank you can not get B.tech in CSE at IIIT Naya Raipur. The closing rank for 4-year B.tech in CSE at IIIT Naya Raipur was 24394 and the closing rank for 4-year B.tech in Electronics and communication engineering was 42281. Please take care of the fact that cutoffs can vary from year to year depending upon factors like number if seats available, number of students appearing for the examination, difficulty level of the paper etc.
I hope it helps. For any further queries regarding this, ask me in the comments.
Hi Priya,
According to your percentile, your rank would be-
9,35,741 * 0.2455 = 2.29,725 (Approximately)
First, you need to score an overall aggregate of 75% in the 12th board if you are from the GENERAL category to be eligible for any IIIT.
OR, you need to be in the top 20 percentile of your respective board like CBSE.
Now, if you are from the GENERAL category, then it will not be possible for you to get this IIIT because you need to secure a rank below 60,000.
But, if you are from a reserved category like SC or ST, then you might have a chance.
Hope this helps you.
All the best!!!
The admission through CG state quota needs 50% aggregate marks in PCM and the admission will also consider the jee marks. The cutoff for the previous years was around 632912 for open cat home state quota. So you have chances of getting the admission in state quota in the above mentioned college.
Hi Baikuntha
Congratulations for performing well in Jee main Examination in 2019 according to previous year cutoff you can get admission in IIIT raipur in spot round of 1 or 2 in electronics engineering
Hope above information is useful for you
