Hello Student,
For the CAT (Common Admission Test) exam form, when asked about your education status, you typically have two options:

1. Completed Graduation: This option is for students who have completed all requirements of their undergraduate degree, including passing the final exams and completing any mandatory internships or practical training.
2. Pursuing Graduation: This option is for students who are still in the process of completing their degree requirements, including pending internships, final projects, or exams.
Since you have passed your final exams but have not yet completed the mandatory internship, you should choose the option "Pursuing Graduation."
This accurately reflects that your degree requirements are still in progress due to the incomplete internship.
Thankyou. I hope this information helped you!

Hello Surinder,

If you scored 43 marks in the CAT exam under the SC category, it might be challenging to secure admission in top-tier IIMs, as their cut-offs are generally higher. However, you may have a chance at newer or less competitive IIMs or other good management institutes that have lower cut-offs for reserved categories.

Here’s what you can consider:

  1. Newer IIMs : Some of the newer IIMs might have lower cut-offs, so it’s worth applying to them.
    |

  2. Other Management Institutes : Look into other reputed B-schools like NITIE, MDI, FMS (if open to reserved category candidates), and other state-level management institutes.

  3. Apply for GD-PI Rounds : Some institutes might have a holistic selection process, where your performance in the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds can help improve your chances.

It’s advisable to apply broadly and consider schools with lower cut-offs.

Hello kunal,

If your caste certificate is not approved for the OBC category, you will likely be considered under the General category for CAT.

However, you will still be allowed to take the CAT exam. The CAT exam is open to all eligible candidates, regardless of their category.

Here's what you should do:

  1. Contact CAT Authorities: Reach out to the CAT authorities to inquire about the status of your caste certificate verification.

  2. Provide Additional Documents: If necessary, be prepared to provide additional documents or evidence to support your claim for OBC reservation.

  3. Plan for General Category: Even if your caste certificate is not approved, you can still prepare for the CAT exam as a General category candidate.

Remember: The final decision regarding your category eligibility will be made by the CAT authorities. It's advisable to stay in touch with them for updates and clarification.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Hello there,
It is beneficial to submit the EWS certificate in CAT format, or Central Government Authorized EWS Certificate will only be considered for CAT or there might be chance of rejection your certificate. You may contact the authority for more clarification.
Thankyou

Hello aspirant,

CAT does not directly send your scores to individual institutes. After you take the CAT exam, you will receive your scorecard from CAT. This scorecard will contain your overall score, sectional scores, and percentile rank.

You will need to update your CAT score on the individual institute portals yourself. Each institute has its own application process, and you will typically need to upload your CAT scorecard to their portal. This allows them to evaluate your application based on your CAT performance.

Therefore, it is important to be prepared to update your CAT score on multiple institute portals after receiving your scorecard.

I hope this information helps you.

Hello aspirant,

You should fill "B.Sc. in Computer Science" under the "Discipline" section of the CAT form.

Even though "BCZ" might be a specific term used in your region or institution, "Computer Science" is the more widely recognized and understood term for the field of study. This will ensure that your application is accurately processed and considered for admission to various MBA programs.

I hope this information helps.
