IIITDM is quite great in terms of:

Placements : The placement scenario in college is getting better every year. The placement cell here is effective. The average salary packages offered are around 8-9 LPA. Last year, the highest salary package offered was about 36 LPA. There is a Genesys (internship in Japan) internship opportunity for meritorious students. Companies like IBM, Oracle, Infosys, and BrahMos, etc., visit the institute for placements every year and offer good packages. More than 90% of the CSE students get placed every year.

Infrastructure : Classrooms are just like packed rooms, and the labs are good. Wi-Fi and LAN facilities are also good. The library is neither large nor too many books are available. Medical facilities are available 24*7. The worst part of the institute is the mess and food served in the mess. Hostel rooms are pretty good. There are facilities for sports, but there are too many restrictions. The biggest issue is water scarcity in the hostel.

Faculty : Teachers are qualified, knowledgeable but not much helpful. If you can study by yourself, then you can pass. Otherwise, there will be too many problems. They teach us both on board as well as on projector. Faculty members are too rough and tough. There are 60 faculty members and 1400 students. We get industry exposure, but it is not good. If anyone wants to be a researcher, then it is the right place; there is an environment for research. Seniors and faculty members help in research projects.

Other : There is a scholarship named MCM for meritorious students. There are a lot of fests. Cultural fest named Tarang, technical fest named Abhikalpan, sports fest named Gusto and Enthuse are organised. Many more small events are organised by the clubs like robotics club, racing club, electronics club, astronomy club, Jazbaat the dramatics society, Aavartan dance club, and many more.

The closing rank for OBC candidates in IIT Bombay was 13

The closing rank for OBC candidates in IIT Guwahati was 31

The closing rank for OBC candidates in IISTDM Jabalpur was 46

Join NIT Calicut. NIT has high value than IIITs. They are old and reputed colleges and most companies visit NIT after IIT. You can go for IIIT if you are interested. NIT is a good option and smart to choose as you are selected for CSE branch and its NIT which defines itself. Your career depends in your skills but your skills will be more recognised if you completed your graducation from a government reputed college.

Well i would recommend CBIT because, IIIT kancheepuram is just rated as AAAA by Careers360 And ranked at 197th by NIRF MHRD Government of India For Engineering. which is far ranked above than CBIT. CBIT is rated as AAAA by Careers360. It is also ranked at 100th by NIRF MHRD Government Of India For Engineering. The ranking given by the government is based on the equipment of labs, infrastructure, no.of doctorate faculty in the college, placements, events and activities. Under these parameters CBIT is ranked at best that IIIT Kancheepuram. CBIT is the no.1 private engineering college of Telangana. The tution fee at CBIT is 2,00,000/- per year. The hostel fee is around 60,000/- per year. The top companies that visit this college are: Deloitte, Uber, Pega, CapeGemini, Cognizant, OYO Rooms, Infosys, Google, Microsoft, IBM, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc. The highest pay package goes around 15-20 lakhs per annum and the average goes around 3.5 lakhs per annum. Here is the fee structure for CSE dual degree program in IIIT Kancheepuram-

1. Institute Fee-

• One Time Fees- Rs. 5,000
• Tuition Fees (Per Semester)- Rs. 54,000
• Other Fees (Per Semester)- Rs. 4,800
• Annual Fees- Rs. 575
• Total Fee- Rs. 64,375

SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of tuition fees.

2. Hostel Fee-

• One Time Fees- Rs. 700
• Hostel Seat Rent (Per Semester)- Rs. 2,000
• Other Fees (Per Semester)- Rs. 8,000
• Mess Advance (Per Semester)- Rs. 14,000
• Total Fee- Rs. 24,700

well congratulations,both the courses have their own pros and cons coming to them,of course nit is better than iiit kancheepuram but in iiit as you have mentioned its a dual degree it has its own advantage.

So it totally depends on your intreset whether to do dual degree or not,but you do have a lot of time.According to my knowledge i can suggest you nit allahabad.

Hello there. Since both are IIIT do they have maintained a standard which makes them one of the best IIIT. Coming up with the difference, their is not as such big difference between both the colleges. Both the colleges have a good study environment and for the placements, one need to maintain their CGPA. If you are able to maintain a good CGPA, then you can easily get placement as well.
