B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2023-01-01
Academics
The course was fairly demanding and required me to stay regular with studies. Along with electronics, there was also exposure to programming and related technical subjects, which I found useful later. Faculty members generally had good subject knowledge. However, some courses were quite theory-heavy
College Infra
The institute has a neat and modern-looking campus. students get access to different laboratories for electronics and communication work, and the academic buildings are fairly well maintained. The surroundings are quiet and there is enough greenery across the campus. Hostel and other day-to-day facilities are usable, though there are areas where better upkeep would help
Campus Life
The campus has a fairly quiet pace, and most of my social life revolved around classmates, hostel friends and institute activities. Technical clubs, sports and student events gave us opportunities to take a break from coursework. Chennai is accessible, although the institute's location means traveling takes some planning
Placements
My placement experience was reasonably positive. students had the option of applying for technology-oriented positions along with electronics-related openings. The recruitment process was competitive, and having good fundamentals made a noticeable difference
Value For Money
I think the institute offers fair value for the overall fee, particularly for students who want a technically focused environment. The academic exposure and relatively smaller student community are advantages. That said, students expecting a big-city college atmosphere may feel that the location and limited options around the campus are a drawback
