I have scored 89.50% in 10 , 88.61% in 12(sci) & 72% in graduation(BE). What are chances to get iimA iimB & How much I have to score in cat?

Hi Aspirant,
First of all,the colleges you mentioned consider many other factors apart from only your past academic records.
However,if you honestly want to get into them,you must score more than 99.5 percentile in CAT.

actually the CGPA for the 10th and 12th is up to the mark and comes to the B tech u r having the 7.5 CGPA but for the IIM at least 50% is enough i am surely tell that ur CGPA is upto the mark maintian this for

Hi Kartik! Your past academic records can be considered as average. As far as the IIMs and FMS are concerned, you need at least 95+ percentile in order to get shortlisted. However, there is no guarantee of shortlist with a high percentile as these institutes mostly compute the scores based

The application rating may affect your chances so, in order to get shortlisted for the PIWAT round, you'll require more than 98%ile.

Also, if you're graduation is in commerce or arts, the required percentile can be reduced.

Let me tell you IIM is not considered very simple,one must have to be very much dedicated.I will explain the selection process:

Manohar yeah definitely you are eligible for getting into the IIM based upon your respective category. As per the criteria you should have atleast 45% or equivalent CGPA from any recognised University .

Hello,

According past records CAT cutoff for IIM Ahmedabad in year 2015-2017 was 99.67 percentile irrespective of your past academic record or work experience.So that's that and also you have to pass GD PI round.

After 10th i am completed my diploma in engineering field, then i completed my graduation,,any chances to get admission in IIMA?

Yes definitely you are eligible and have good chances to get IIM Ahmedabad.

You musthave scored minimum 50%aggregate marks in graduation as must and have valid CAT score.

Cutoff marks for ST category is between 50 to 60 percentile in CAT to recive call for GDPI process at IIM Ahmedabad.

College Infrastructure

Campus is beautiful and well designed, with modern classrooms and good hostel facilities. The library is huge and has a good collection of books. The campus environment is clean, green , and very professional, which create a strong academic atmosphere that make us feel more competitive.

The college have the best infrastructure and provide all the facilities to the students. The college have hostel facilities and well maintained campus. The food is very hygienic in the canteen and have clean campus.
