B.Sc B.Ed at IIT Ropar (IIT-RPR) Offline Course

The Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) is a 4-year integrated programme under which the students will have a Dual Major undergraduate degree in a specific discipline along with B.Ed. Keeping in view the mandate of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and subsequent initiatives by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) (Ministry of Education, Government of India, New Delhi), the Department of Education at this institute offers B.Sc.-B.Ed (Secondary Stage) with Majors in three different disciplines, namely, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Apart from preparing teachers for the reconfigured school education system in the country, the ITEP will help impart disciplinary knowledge in the above mentioned subjects so that the students will gain in-depth knowledge. It would also ensure their admission to higher studies in the disciplinary streams, including higher professional education.
