The faculty members are experienced, approachable, and always ready to help. The curriculum is updated regularly and focuses on both theoretical knowledge and practical learning. Students get plenty of opportunities to work on research projects, internships, and industry collaborations.

College Infra

IIT Ropar has a beautiful and well-maintained campus with modern classrooms, advanced labs, a spacious library, fast Wi-Fi, and excellent sports facilities. The hostels are clean, comfortable, and provide all the basic amenities. Overall, the campus offers a great environment for both learning and personal growth.

Academics

Overall my Btech academics was not so good the professors are not so cruel but sometimes they become they give papers so tough you dont get to score atleast passing marks ,other than this everything is alright.

College Infra

I have done my Btech and Mtech in same IIt through professor refferals,They are very supportive even if you dont get any company placed they offer you mtech in the same college which is very helpful and thanks to professors

Placements

Overall placements are very good for btech students compared to other students because they have limited sources wheras other Btech students get placed in very good companies like zomato,google,Swiggy.

MS Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2027-01-01

Academics

I give a 5 star for this because it has very good lab equipments and very good professors it gives overall great career option if you choose Mtech or btech. The college is specially has good equipments for all branches.

College Infra

I am currently studying Mtech and I felt this college is so good in terms of infrastructure weather it may be academically or infra wise, the college gives good Teachers ,students and professors ,They are very friendly and cooperative in terms of studies.

Campus Life

Placements

Overall placements for Btech is very good it goes upto 54lacs in Zomato company for b tech students and not many for M tech as it has less number of students and few get placed in Mtech others choose Higher studies.
