First of all, you cannot pursue two degree course simultaneously, at any point in time.

Second, of all, IGNOU doesn't allow degree and diploma course to be persued at the same time.

What IGNOU allows is degree with certificate courses, so choose wisely according to what suits you and your future aspirations.

Kindly, contact the coordinator of your study centre for exact timings regarding starting of classes, only your coordinator will be able to confirm you all these details with clarity, usually IGNOU classes are held on weekend only.

Lateral Entry is never an option available for any or every course. It is a provision for specific courses and to be able to provide you more it is important to know as to which course you are referring.

IGNOU does not offer any lateral admission. I would advise you to download its brochure cum application form and go through eligibility requirement of degree.

The notice published on the official website reads: "With the approval of the Competent Authority, it is to inform you that the last date of submission of Online and Offline Admission Forms for all programmes for July, 2019 session has been further extended upto 14th August, 2019."

How to apply for IGNOU admission 2019

Candidates are advised to follow the step guide given below to apply online for IGNOU admission.

i) Open the official website of IGNOU — ignou.ac.in

ii) On the homepage, click on the link which reads ‘Admission’

iii) The first step you need to do is registration. Enter your email ID and password for the registration. (You are advised to keep the credentials safe for future login)
