The eligibility for the KVPY-SB examination:

An undergraduate  program in Basic sciences (B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S) in the academic year 2021-22 and secured a minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in 1st year of B.Sc./B.S./B.Math./B.Stat./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S.

So there are no conditions available for the distance education or regular students. As a result, the student who are studying the basic sciences in Open University then also you are eligible.

IGNOU exams are held in the college centers selected by you. They give you an option to select a center according to you.

You do receive study materials by them only. All you need to do is to submit assignments given by them.

you can visit the place in office hours on normal days and working days,,or you can visit the official site of the college and contact them through mail , helpline number or office number given on the website in the prescribed timings. this way you can contact them and ask your queries or post them on the website.

The NIRF list (National Institutional Ranking Framework, Ministry of Education, Govt of India) contains the colleges in their list seeing various factors including the size of campus, its research options, its placements, its faculty, its students, its internship opportunities. So if your college in not in this list, you need not to worry much. Your college is much better than its looks.

1. Attending classes is not compulsory. Classes are held on weekends and holidays.
2. For December/January session, you have to submit the assignments by 30th September at your study center. You can prepare your assignments using the material provided by IGNOU.
3. Then you have to fill the exam form for the subjects you wish to write the exams for. You can write any number for that particular year. For a Masters's degree, the minimum period is 2 years and the maximum is five.
4. Write the exam and get the result.
5. Repeat for the next year
6. you need to register with fees before the start of the semester which is held in January and July.

   Depending on your program you will have to go to the study center for classes and submit an assignment for the subjects. In some programs, you have to Viva for Assignment and practical. Only students who have submitted assignments can appear for the exams. Exams were held in June and December.

   You will get the results in a Month. After you pass out you will behave to fill up the form for convocation( along with fees) to choose you want to appear for convocation personally or you want it by post.

As you know it is not l gal to get bachelor's degree from two different institutions at the same time. Some people do enroll themselves into both the courses, but you cannot show anywhere that you have completed both the course simulataneously. Hence, it is not legal to carry on with both the courses from two different universities at the same time.
