Placements for Jain University: The placements here are good for computer science and information science department. The reason behind this may be because it is in Bangalore. Almost, 100% placement was there last year for computer science students. The average salary offered was 5.5 lacs per annum. There is a placement cell, and it is useful.

Placement for Presidency University: The placement cell of college is very good. Right from the first year we are prepared for good placements. We have 2 internships. One is during 2nd year and the next one is during 4th year. Lots of companies visit our college for placements. As this year was the first batch to pass out, the average salary package offered was around 4-5 LPA.

Placements of CMR Institute of Technology: Placements haven't been the best in the past years, but they've gotten way better. Packages offered ranged from 3-18 LPA. Companies like Deloitte, Morgan Stanley, Appdynamics, ABCO, Commvault, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Oracle, etc., and many other dream companies recruited around 4-5 students each on average. CSE is the best stream to get good placements in CMRIT.

School of Engineering and Technology, Jain University, has maintained a record of 100% placement opportunities in the past.The fees structure will be different for different courses but the hostel fees will be same for all and even transportation fees if the student is day Scholar. They provide specialization in 7 streams, which is pretty good and helps in getting into good companies.

• Jain University's NIRF ranking is 115 whereas NIRF ranking of UPES is 145.
• UPES is good only for petroleum and related branches. For branches other than petroleum it is like any other lower ranked private college.
• The median package at Jain university is around 6lpa whereas for UPES it around 4lpa.
