Operation Theatre Technology is demanding and emergent needs of experts in the fields of Operation Theatre Management, medical ethics, Anaesthesia Technology, post-operation care. The Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technologist are responsible for direct and indirect patient care, equipment set up and operation procedures. They need to be trained to assist the surgeons during the procedures and assume responsibility for the completion of other functions as assigned. A modern Operation Theatre is a profusion of various state of the art machines & equipment. The structure, preparation and handling of this equipment then becomes a vital part of the functioning. Qualified technicians are thus in high demand in this line of specialization. Operation theatre technology is meant to train the student in all the procedures in the operation theatre.
A person, who have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) with a Science stream or any other examination recognized as from PUC / ISC / CBSE or equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
Admissions to the SAHS programs would be done on the basis of entrance examinations through Jain Entrance Test (JET) which is conducted by the Jain (Deemed-to-be University).
