Jharkhand University of Technology, Ranchi Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

Jharkhand University of Technology Ranchi provides admissions to various courses at Diploma, UG and PG levels. JUT Ranchi admissions are based on merit and entrance examination for respective courses. Jharkhand University of Technology for Diploma, B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech and MBA admissions are based on the entrance examinations scores of the applicants while all the other course admissions are majorly based on the last qualifying merit of the applicants.

The entrance examinations accepted by the Jharkhand University of Technology Ranchi are Jharkhand PECE for diploma, JEE Main for B.Tech, JEE Main/NATA for B.Arch, GATE for M.Tech and CAT/CMAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA for MBA admissions. Aspiring candidates are mandated to meet the JUT Ranchi eligibility criteria before applying. Once the applicant is shortlisted, he/she will have to pay the JUT Ranchi fees to secure admission.

• For admission in diploma, B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech and MBA courses, the candidate must qualify the relevant national / state level entrance examination. 

• Then, if applicable, they would have to participate in the counselling rounds, through which institute will be allocated to the applicant. 

• For admission to the other courses, the applicant has to register on the college website.

• They must pay the JUT Ranchi application fee, to successfully register. 

• The admission will depend on the academic merit of the candidate, so he/she must check the JUT Ranchi website regularly for admission updates.  

The candidate applying for the polytechnic engineering diploma courses must qualify and secure a valid score in Jharkhand Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination (PECE). The duration of the courses is 3 years.

• The candidate must meet the diploma eligibility criteria, to apply for admission. 

• He/She must appear for Jharkhand Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination.

• Then, they must participate in the counselling rounds, conducted by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. 

• If Jharkhand University of Technology Ranchi is allotted to the candidate, then, they must download the allotment order and report to the institute. 

• They must pay the Jharkhand University of Technology Ranchi diploma fee to finalise admission.

• The candidate must meet the eligibility criteria, to apply for admission. 

• They must fill the registration form. 

• Then, they must pay the JUT Ranchi registration fee. 

• The admission is dependent on academic merit.

• Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by the institute for further admission process.

• If an applicant is selected, they must pay the JUT Ranchi admission fee.

• The candidate must meet the B.Tech eligibility criteria, to apply for admission.

• They must appear for the JEE Main entrance examination.

• After securing a valid score, the applicant needs to appear for the Jharkhand state counselling round, on the official website.

• JUT Ranchi will be allocated to the candidate as per their score and rank in the entrance test as well as the choice filling preference in the counselling round.

• The candidate must meet the B.Arch eligibility criteria, to apply for admission.

• They would need to qualify the JEE Main Paper II/NATA entrance exam. 

• After securing a valid score, the applicant needs to participate in the counselling rounds of these exams, through which Jharkhand University of Technology Ranchi will be allotted. 

• If the institute gets allotted, then the applicant must report to the college and pay the Jharkhand University of Technology Ranchi B.Arch fee, to be admitted into the college.

• The candidate must meet the M.Tech eligibility criteria, to apply for admission. 

• They must appear for either the entrance exam conducted by JUT Ranchi or for the national GATE entrance examination. 

• The applicant has to participate in state counselling rounds, conducted by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. 

• In the choice filling list, they must put JUT Ranchi at the top, as the most preferred institute. 

• If the applicant is allotted the seat in Jharkhand University of Technology Ranchi then they must pay the college fee, to finalise admission.

• The candidate must meet the MCA eligibility criteria, to apply for admission. 

• They must fill the JUT Ranchi MCA application form and pay the fee to successfully register. 

• The admission in the college will depend on the academic merit of the candidates, so they must wait for merit lists, released by the university. 

• If they get selected, they need to pay the JUT Ranchi admission fee.

• The candidate must meet the MBA eligibility criteria, to apply for admission. 

• They must appear for any of the following exams - CAT/CMAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA. 

• Apply through the official website of the college.

• Submit all the relevant documents and entrance test scorecards if required.

• Students will be shortlisted based on their entrance examination scores and overall academic performance of the last merit.

• Shortlisted candidates will be mandated to pay the programme fees to secure admission.
