    If it is Marine engineering you are looking to pursue, then definetly go for Cusat.

    For other courses, karunya is a little costlier compared to Cusat.

    Both the colleges are pretty good with academics, infrastructure, campus placements etc.

    In my opinion CUSAT has better placement oppurtunities.

    According to the official website, https://www.karunya.edu/sites/default/files/img/admissions/B.Tech.%20-%20NRI%202017.pdf the annual fee structure for 2017-21 batch was approximately 8260 USD per annum. There is no merit under this Category, The fees might have been increased since then. You may have to talk to the management for the updated fee structure.

    The following are the steps for applying TC in any college/university.

    The college will first ask you to get a No-dues certificate. So go to your college office and get that form first. You will have to get no dues stamp or signature from: all departments in college, library, labs,

    In St.Philomena's college the course offered is a combination of criminology, psychology and sociology. Hence you'll definetly have a broader spectrum of work opportunities.
    Karunya university is also good. If you are ready to afford the hefty fee then it would be a good option.

    Dr Harisingh Gour university offers a total of 72 seats for BA criminology. The candidates are filtered through an entrance test UGET.
    Whereas Karunya University doesnt have an entrance exam (I believe you are talking about the one in coimbatore). All you need is 50% or more Mark's in your

    Karunya University conducts KEE (Karunya University Entrance Exam) for admission.

    And for admission in UG programmes at Doctor Harisingh Gour University you will have to appear in DHSGSU UGET entrance test conducted by Doctor Harisingh Gour University.

    The infrastructure and labs are good. Unlimited Wi-Fi with a speed of 2 GBPS is available. The hostel food is really good, but the rules and regulations are very boring and disgusting. The college got NAAC B grade this year.
