As you secured this rank in jee mains ,i would suggest you to go for any home state colleges which is not through josaa because then there will be greater chances of getting non core branches for you.

The college has  good placement opportunities for the students. many companies visit the campus and hires the students from the college with good package. students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester itself.

Obviously you will get selected in there. Firstly they see your performance level that how on based information you answered ? And other is entrance exam, if you passes in this exam then surely you will get admission in that stream.
