It is a bit difficult to predict what would be your rank at this marks as it depends upon certain conditions like number of candidates appearing in that examination,number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut off, difficulty level of the paper.

But on a general basis as per my knowledge I would say in these marks your rank would be somewhat around 1.3k and you do have fair chances to get cse at manipal main campus. But note that these things vary in these private college examination.

Firstly, congrats on successful completion of your MET exam. The cut-off trends keeps changing every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. With 107/240, its not possible to get CSE or IT branch in their main campus, i.e. Manipal as there is a huge competition for these seats. The cut-off of CSE branch at Manipal campus was 781 in the year 2020. So, you can try for CSE and IT branches their Jaipur and Sikkim campuses. Just apply to their counselling process and as it is conducted in different rounds, your chances of securing a seat increases.

Manipal University and Vellore institute of technology are both private deemed university and are well known for their CSE courses. Both the university are considered as a lifeline and good options for those who could not get a seat of their choices in IIT's or NIT's.

Campus

Vellore institute of technology has a 350 acres campus with amazing infrastructure and a centered lake, the rules though here are very strict. Manipal University also has a 315 acres huge campus with beautiful infrastructure and a wonderful college life due to fewer restrictions and rules. Both have well furnished hostels, laboratory and huge library open to its students.

Academics

Vellore institute of technology has an edge on it as it has a fully flexible credit system which allows student to select their teachers and timing of classes. Faculties at both the colleges are good and most of them have done PhD in their subjects.

Both the university guarantee 100 percent placements for thier computer science and engineering students where average package in VIT is around 7 lacs and around 6.5 lacs in Manipal.

The fee structure at Vit is divided into categories as per the ranking in VITEEE and lies between 2-5lacs. The fee for computer science and engineering at Manipal University is about 3.5 lacs per annum.

Manipal University conducts its own annual online entrance test to offer admissions to interested candidates in their programmes. To get CSE, you should secure a rank under 2000. Your rank will be decided by the number of other factors like availability of seats, number of applicant so we cant predict accurately. However 139 marks is believed to be good but can be a bit difficult too to take you in the main campus with that score. there are other branches where you can surely get in.

If you are capable of getting 150+ in the exam, you have high chances in getting CSE in Manipal Campus. They offers 2 tries and the best one is recorded. Give it a try. You can do it. Stay focused.

To get Manipal Institute of Technology, you score must be 115+  and that will fetch you rank around 36000 to 43000. Because the last year(2020) the Civil Engineering branch was closed at 37282 which was the maximum closing rank for MIT, Manipal.
