Yes , it is good score . to get a good rank in engineering entrance exam conducted by Manipal University , you should  target a score above 150. If you get 240 marks in Entrance examination you can easily get admission in the college .

Yes off course Computer science and Communication both are good branches in engineering aspects but you have to decided as per your skills set like if you are good in coding, algorithm, data structure then obviously you go through Computer science if you are good in communication

Aim for 550-560 this will put u in a safe zone to get any seat in Manipal University.

Soo 550+ is quite good.
