Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must have passed with the Graduates (minimum 10+2+3 format) in any discipline with minimum 55% marks in graduation are eligible with a relaxation of 5 % marks for SC/ST.
Admission Details
- Candidates are shortlisted for Personal Appearance (PA) process based on CAT score. The cut off score is decided by the admission committee based on the number of total applicants.
- PA process is conducted. PA process consists of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
- Merit List is prepared by the department based on CAT score (75%), PI (15%) & GD (10%) score.

College Infrastructure
NIT Durgapur has a well-maintained campus with spacious classrooms, modern labs, a good library, hostels, and useful facilities that create a comfortable learning environment for students, hostel are cleans, maintained as it is a government college, good college.

Its a decent NIT with good infrastructure with good libraries canteen cafeteria hostel for boys and girls. Though class rooms are not in good position some are non ac room, benches are uncomfortable in 2025, but renovation is going on.

Great infracuture. All AC classrooms. Projectors are there. Hostel facility are there . Mess are there. Playground,gym,basketball court, table tennice, weight lifting all facility are there. There is a big play ground.
