NIT Durgapur has strong academics with knowledgeable teachers, practical learning, and a good focus on both concepts and skills. The courses help students build a solid base for their careers, the teachers are supportive too, for them we have came here .
College Infra
NIT Durgapur has a well-maintained campus with spacious classrooms, modern labs, a good library, hostels, and useful facilities that create a comfortable learning environment for students, hostel are cleans, maintained as it is a government college, good college.

Great campus life..
Placements
NIT Durgapur has a decent placement structure with good company opportunities. The placement process is fairly organized, and students get support in preparing for interviews and job opportunities, there placement structure is very good well organised too. All over it has a good placement structure.

The academics are good, and the teachers are supportive and knowledgeable. The curriculum is updated, with practical learning, workshops, and projects that help students gain real skills for future careers, for PhD students , every teachers is good as well as facilities
College Infra
The campus has a clean, green, and well-maintained environment with modern classrooms, smart labs, a rich library, Wi-Fi, sports facilities, and comfortable hostels that support both academics and student life and also canteen where we get ok ok food.
Campus Life
Campus life is absolutely great.
Placements
For PhD students, placement support is decent. Many get opportunities in universities, research labs, or industry. Success mostly depends on your research work, skills, and publications. Overall it is decent.

Academics
I am studying Computer Science and engineering. The quality of teaching i would say is okay , like some teachers are good and some are bad.Yes every thing is up to date. i do leet code and practice. Teachers are supportive caring . They teach through projectors and some teachers teach by board.
College Infra
Our college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. We have all facilities like air conditioner black boards in classrooms , as i am a computer science student in our college computers are there , library having 5 to 6 stack rooms and air conditioners in libraries. Sports we have two grounds named as ovals and lords. In hostel facilities we have bed table and chair wifi is there but air conditioner is not there. The food is not so much hygienic in hostels and the living space specially in boys hostel its not so clean.
Placements
The quality of placement is good. 100%. students are placed and highest package is around 56 to 58LPA \average salary offered is 22LPA placement process are difficult and college are supportive. College are giving time to students they do vocational training for students . In intern also from our btch many of them got internships. our senior batch 2022-2026 batch they got 100% placement.
