hello aspirant,

78.92 percentile would fetch you a rank around 215648-242420.As of now its tough to say because the analysis and also cutoffs change every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level of paper etc,As you did not mention your category considering you from gen category and according to your profile you from andhra pradesh for which other state quota will be considered for counselling to nit goa, based on your rank you have tough to no chances to fetch seat in nits. The last year cutoff for nit goa for

civil engineering -35494

mechanical engineering-26295

.you need better percentile of 98+  to fetch seat in top nits,iiits..you can try in private engineering colleges using your jee percentile.workhard for the upcoming jeemain sessions..you can get closing rank for josaa official website: https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

.for more information to get a personalised report on what all chances you have for your rank refer to: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

hope this helps,

thankyou.

Hi

Your profile suggests that you are from Maharashtra

It's quite difficult to make prediction but yes , with 95 marks

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile/amp#referrer=https://www.google.com&csi=1

The above rank is just estimated rank  the actual rank  will vary a bit as above prediction is on the basis of past year trends but marks vs percentile vs rank  keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination for different shifts of the exam etc

Coming to your chances of getting a seat in NIT Goa

When we go through previous year trend then , it suggest that you have low chances to get a seat in NIT Goa

For example,

In round 6 of josaa counselling 2020 , for general category  closing rank for gender neutral for other state in NIT Goa is provided below for some of the branches-

  • Civil engineering :- 35494

  • Computer science :- 10323

  • Mechanical Engineering  :- 26295

So, with 95 marks with your predicted rank of around 50,000 you have low chances to get a seat in nit Goa and you can check the closing rank for all the branches at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cut off/closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon many factors like number of students that appeared in the examination etc so

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

Dear aspirant,

As per the previous years the opening closing ranks for nit goa has been provided in the website so I am providing you the link regarding the cut offs for nit goa kindly check it out -

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-nit-goa

Dear student,

Fist of all your must qualify the jee mains cutoff from your particular category.
Now, if you belong from home state quota, then there is no such good rank to get nit goa. Because from home state quota, you can easily get nit goa even if you secure 60000 rank. But for other state you must have to secure under 14000 rank from general category, to get a seat in nit goa.
So, for that yog have to score well ro get a good branch in nit goa.

Also check out the following link to know more about jee mains :-

Hello Vijaya Lakshmi,

Well, for IGDTUW the placements of 2019 were like :

Company Number of Offers
Accenture 52
Adobe 2
Amazon 9
Azcom Technology 7
Blackstone 5
Cisco 9
Dell 11
Expedia 9
GE Edison 3
Hero Motocorp 1
Honda 4
Maruti Suzuki 3
Microsoft 8
Fluor Daniel
11
EATON
16
TATA Motors 15
TCS 52
Oracle
14
Nestle 1
Orange Business Services 3
SAP Labs
5
Thoughtworks
3
TATA Communication
5
Fluor Daniel
11
NIIT Technologies
1
HSBC 5
1. My Honest suggestion will be, IGDTUW to be the first due to its,

2.

Wonderful Attraction of Big Giant-tech companies, and a lot of offers provided...

And for NIT Goa(Sounds Exciting but I will never suggest):

Placement Statistics 94.44%
Total No. of Students 54
No. of Students Placed 51
Highest CTC INR. 15.9 LPA
Average CTC INR 7.35 LPA
Minimum CTC INR. 3.6 LPA

And finally the NIT Kurukshetra:

Highest Package (UG)

40.63 LPA

Average Package (UG)

8.24 LPA

And No Doubt, NIT Kurukshetra is the very Good, you asked,

NIRF Engineering Ranking of NIT Kurukshetra 40 ( 2020 )

So, I would suggest Either IGDTUW or NIT Kurukshetra :

As the syllabus of CSE and IT are not very different, and placement opportunities are open almost same of CSE and IT...So you can choose IT too! over CSE...

Choose wisely, Good Luck!

Hope this helps, and feel free to ask any further query...

Hello Venusaivenu12012002,

Well, Sorry to say but you can't get float option after selecting slide option, (As written in Josaa Business rule 2020 : a candidate can change from float to slide/freeze and slide to freeze by online reporting.  Page 37) but I will suggest, wait till last round and then apply for CSAB round and arrange in your preferred manner, there are chances for you getting seat there, but no chance in josaa itself...

Last Year Csab round cutoff for MANIT bhopal, chemical engineering was 27193 for CSAB first round for Other State Quota Candidates...

Hope This Helps, feel free to ask any further query...
