Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering is a four-year (8 Semesters) full-time undergraduate program offered by National Institute of Technology Srinagar.

The Department of Civil Engineering is the largest and one of the pioneering departments of National Institute of Technology, Srinagar. It was established at the inception of the Institute( then REC Srinagar) in 1960. Over the years, since then, the Department has progressed with a considerable development in its infrastructure, both in terms of its faculty and the other learning facilities. The Department has produced several eminent professionals who have made an excellent contribution in the field of Civil Engineering, both at National and the international levels.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12 th /qualifying examination in order to be eligible for writing JEE (Main). The candidates who have taken four subjects are not permitted to write JEE (Main) and if such candidates appear in JEE (Main) by furnishing wrong information, their rank/result will not be declared.

Admission Details

Candidates shall be offered admission based on their choices and All India Ranks of JEE (Main) through a Seat Allocation Process to be announced later. The candidates will be able to make their choices online for branches /programs and institutes at the appropriate time.

College Infrastructure

The campus is honestly one of the most beautiful in the country with a scenic view of Dal lake and surroundings mountain. some hostels are a bit old. but they are manageable overall the natural beauty makes the college feel special.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is very good and having a big campus with full of amenities. The college has hostel facilities, message facilities and well equipped labs , wifi are everywhere, libraries are there .

Yes, our college provides all the necessary equipment and facility to students. It is one of the most beautiful campus with greenery spread all across the campus. Laboratories, classrooms are very good and clean daily. Food is hygienic.
