Presidency University Bengaluru invites applications for full time/ part time Ph.D degree programme. The objective of the programme is to enable the scholars to become top-class researchers in their chosen fields of study, leading to a Ph.D degree.

Presidency University offers Ph.D Programmes in Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, Mathematics, Physics, Environmental Science, Management, Commerce and Economics, Literature and Languages (English and Kannada), Media Studies, Law, Design and Library Sciences.

University fellowship of Rs. 37,000/ per month (for first 2 years) and Rs. 42000/per month (for the third year), for eligible full-time scholars.

Eligibility & Admission Procedure As per UGC norms.

Applicants who have qualified national wide examinations, UGC-NET/joint UGC-CSIR NET /ICAR (ASRB)-NET/ICMR JRF/DBT-JRF/NBHM are exempted from entrance examination and will appear directly to the discussion meeting for Ph.D enrolment on submitting the relevant score card.
