The department is dedicated to the teaching and research activities in the areas of civil engineering. The department educates students to take up challenging jobs in a wide range of industries and engage themselves in research and development activities for the good of society.
Courses offered by the department cater to learning needs from the basic to the advanced level. The department offers a variety of discipline electives and covers most of the modern technologies. The state-of-the-art laboratories provide hands-on experiences and support research activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Pre-University / Higher Secondary /10+2 examination Pass with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject.
- Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to Reserved Category) in the above subjects taken together.
- In case of SC/ST, Category -1 and OBC (2A, 2B, 3A and 3B) category students from Karnataka (Karnataka candidates) the minimum marks for eligibility shall be 40 %.
Admission Details
- Appeared for JEE (Main), JEE (Advanced), Karnataka CET, COMED-K, PUEET or any other State-level Engineering Entrance Examination.
- Candidates are required to appear for the Presidency University Bangalore evaluation test in addition to standard eligibility criteria.
- Candidates are also required to appear for the Personal Interview process
