Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering is four years (8 Semester) full-time undergraduate engineering program offered by Presidency University, Bangalore and approved by AICTE.

Welcome to the Computer Science & Engineering Department in the School of Engineering, Presidency University, Bengaluru.

We work with the motivation and dedication to impart the best knowledge to highly talented students admitted in our department. A wide range of courses are offered to students to help them understand the various intricacies involved in computing. The courses are designed in a way to invoke students’ ability to think originally and creatively. The faculty members of the CS department are trained to produce computer engineers with the ability to design and develop systems involving the integration of software and hardware devices. The department is equipped with modern computer labs, with well-trained lab assistants, to empower students with a better understanding of the theory lecture sessions and to give them an exposure to practical problem solving.

Eligibility Criteria

Pre-University / Higher Secondary /10+2 examination Pass with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject.
Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to Reserved Category) in the above subjects taken together.
In case of SC/ST, Category -1 and OBC (2A, 2B, 3A and 3B) category students from Karnataka (Karnataka candidates) the minimum marks for eligibility shall be 40 %.

Admission Details

Appeared for JEE (Main), JEE (Advanced), Karnataka CET, COMED-K, PUEET or any other State-level Engineering Entrance Examination.
Candidates are required to appear for the Presidency University Bangalore evaluation test in addition to standard eligibility criteria.
Candidates are also required to appear for the Personal Interview process
Admissions team also uses scholastic and extra-curricular records.

Our college ..............have all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. But there are so many people in our college. It will be difficult for everyone to acquire every equip they want .

College Infrastructure

The academic buildings are well-designed and ventilated, and labs are equipped with advanced equipment for practical sessions. The campus also includes sports facilities, cafeterias, and medical rooms, though some students note ongoing construction in certain areas and occasional overcrowding. Hostel and canteen facilities are available with mixed reviews on food quality and costs. Overall, the university environment is comfortable for academic and extracurricular activities, though location (on the outskirts) and maintenance of some spaces could be improved.

A good and decent college to get graduated.

College Infrastructure

The campus is large, clean, and green. Classrooms, labs, library, and Wi-Fi are modern and well equipped. Hostel, canteen, and sports facilities are available for students. Overall the campus infrastructure is good.
