B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2029-01-01
Academics
academics as a perspective of me are fine in the sense that many subjects which are required for technology like computer science and all is present here yeah but workshops and other things which are not of use according to me should be stopped
College Infra
it is also beant university is very known university like from very old time it is reputable but yes i think its infrastructure needs to be upgraded as it is an iconic university it has tobe according to the modern infra requirements
Placements
i majorly rely on off campus placements as their is more scope according to me because the companies coming on campus may recruite only top 2-4% and under which coming is not easy so yes we have both on campus and off campus options

B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028-01-01
Academics
Quality of teaching is anyones guess, because only few teachers are motivated to teach.Curiculum is old and does not have recent developments and it just introduces to the concepts. Not a very good experience.
College Infra
There are 3 to 4 main buildings and only civil has there only building all to themselves and others are like 3 branches in a single building. There is a little bit of sports complex also. University is very small in terms of area. The equipments in university are old and some does not work. Classrooms are old , they do not have good facilities and wifi is very bad. They are not well maintained. While classes are clean but same cannot be said for toilets and grounds.
Campus Life
It is fine and there are few activities people can participate but nothing that excites me. Teachers are supportive , it is not very safe there as outsiders wander in easily and fights also break in every now and then
Placements
Placements are very bad and very few people get them . In case of computer science engineering only like 2-5 people might get them. Companies which come are also not very good. Placements are very very bad.
Value For Money
Course is like 55k per sem . I don't think I get my money's worth.

B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028-01-01
Academics
Academically this university is improving consistently. It recently become a state university in 2021. Faculty are mostly experienced and approachable especially in technical branches. The university follows a structured curriculum and classes are generally regular but to be honest you will need to do self study and online courses to really be industry ready so if you are someone who is proactive then academics would not be a problem at all
College Infra
The campus is actually quite spacious and green. Buildings are properly maintained and classrooms are decent sitting with ventilation. Some of the labs are well equipped for core engineering branches but some are outdated. Wifi is available across the campus and hostel but not the fastest.
Campus Life
Campus life is pretty jill you would not get a city type Y but the student community is friendly. There are cultural events Techfest and sports activities also. The crowd is mostly from Punjab and nearby states and the vibe is quite desi and grounded. You will enjoy your time here if you get involved and make good friends
Placements
Placements are the week's port here. yes Some students do get place in companies like TCS Infosys or some local companies but the average package is low around 3 to 4 lpa and the placement rate is note that high overall if you want a great job after college you have to put in the extra effort- learn skills outside these syllabus and get a decent internship
Value For Money
The fees are very affordable compared to the private colleges around 55,000 is the person master fees or less depending on your course. And for this coast you get a recognized degree a decent campus and supportive teachers. If you are from a middle class background and want a low budget engineering degree then this college is the best around the area especially if you are willing to work on your skills outside the classroom
