Academics
The curriculum covers the essential concepts well and provide a solid base for learning. The professors are helpful, but there could be greater emphasis on practical applications and current industry requirements.
College Infra
The college has all the basic facilities needed for studies, and they serve their purpose well. That said a few areas could be upgraded and maintained better to make the campus experience more enjoyable for students.
Placements
The college provides reasonable placement opportunities and many students secure jobs through campus recruitment.However increasing the number of hiring companies and expanding opportunities accross different fields.

In COAP Round 5 (and subsequent rounds), only Accept & Freeze or Reject are available; there is no "Retain and Wait". If no better offers from IIT Kharagpur come, Accept & Freeze at IIT Guwahati or move to an NIT depends entirely on your interest in Design
