There is no cut off or no minimum percent I required for admission in Shastra University. Admissions are based on the rank list prepared by the Shastra University and it will be different every year based on various factors.

It is based on 12th percentage and jee main mark(sastra will calculate like this 12th percentage * 0.75+jee main mark * 0.25) but you have to score good in JEE mains and your 12th.

Applicants are advised to submit the JEE scores in the application form even if they are not qualified for the Advanced. For getting CSE at SASTRA one have to score above 95% in 12th and above 93 percentile in JEE Main .

Hello! There is no particular end in IPE imprints to get into sastra. As of 2021 if you have any desire to get a seat in CSE you should be your state clincher. You get ECE or EEE on the off chance that your imprints are 986+. This is for other state understudies IPE percent ought to be at least 97-98% and Shastra is a college that considers JEE MAIN imprints, being an external state competitor it is vital to score 97-98% alongside a JEE score of 110-130 to get a seat in Shastra.

Hello,

Sastra University takes admission on the basis of 12th scores and jee mains scores out of which 30% weightage is given to the 12th marks and 70% weightage is given to jee mains scores so let me tell you that your jee mains scores is very less so i would suggest to keep other private colleges as a backup to be on a safer side.

You can get lower branches here but that too depends on certain conditions like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

There is no specific cutoff in Shastra University. It will be different every year. Admission is based on the highest marks students secured. Applicants are advised to submit the JEE scores in the application form even if they are not qualified for the Advanced or they don't have the cut-off prescribed by MHRD. SASTRA does not use the CBSE cut-off for its admission but its own ranks calculated based on +2 marks and JEE (Main) scores.

Shastra University contains more than 1500 seats. 70% of seats are given on the basis of JEE mains scored and the remaining 30% of seeds are given on the basis of merit marks in 12th.

Hello there!

SASTRA has not mentioned any cutoff criteria for JEE MAINS score as they have their own merit list for allotting seats for admission in this university. If you want to pursue your B.Tech in SASTRA with CSE branch, you need a score of 95% and above in your 12th examination from a recognized board.

Admissions are done on the basis of following two criteria for SASTRA.

  • In the first criteria, 70% of seats are allotted to students with weightage of 25% in JEE MAINS and 75% in 12th boards
  • Second criteria says, 30%of seats are for those students who wants to take admission on the basis of boards score only and hence, cutoff is high for this criteria if you want to study CSE your score should be more than 95%.

And since your score in boards is 97.6% you have high chances to get CSE in SASTRA university.

Hope this helps!

hello aspirant,

Yes, you may get admission in Sastra university for the above mentioned engineering branches in the above mentioned percentile in JEE mains. This is because there is no percentile and the minimum marks required for the admission in Sastra University. SASTRA does not use the CBSE cut-off for its admission but its own ranks calculated based on +2 marks and JEE (Main) scores. So, you can get admission in this college.

They prepare their own meritlist on the basis of 2 criterias:

  1. First criteria has 70% of seats. Admissions r given by taking 25% weightage of JEE mains and 75% of boards.
  2. Second criteria includes admission on the basis of boards marks only. But it has only 30% of seats , so for this criteria u should be having 95 or 95+ for securing ur seat as in this criteria competition may be very tough.

i hope that this will help.

Deemed Universities offer courses based on their University exam conducted by them it is advisable to appear for sastra entrance exam.
As you have got 93.8%in jee you are also eligible for jee advanced &josaa nit, iiit councelling why to spent lakhs in private universities.
As per my knowledge if you score 98% or above in jee  then you can avail your dream course at somewhat low cost in sastra University

Dear aspirant,

Personally I think Amrita Coimbatore is better but SASTRA is better than any other branches of Amrita other than Coimbatore.

1. The course structure and curriculum is at par with IITs.

2. Amrit has a relative grading system and thus your grades don't matter in an absolute sense.

3. The amenities of Coimbatore campus is way better than that of SASTRA.

4. Amrita has a better brand value. Even though, both colleges have similar placement records, Amrita offers more options than SASTRA.

Hope this helps.

Dear aspirant,

Looking at the previous year trends we can say that you really have a good board mark and JEE percentile. With this, we can say that you have a really good chance of getting CSE if you have TN / Thanjavur quota. If not, it might be slightly difficult, but looking at the previous year trends we can say that you stand a fair chance for getting into the courses you have mentioned but also please keep your other options open.

Hope this helps.

hello Sir,

For Sastra University, there is no percentile score required for Admission and there is also no cutoff required for admission. The admission is done on the basis of the marks scored in class 12th and the JEE mains score.

However, in order to get admission, the minimum marks required for admission is that you must get at least 100+ in JEE mains. That means you must get more than 90 percentile in JEE Mains to get admission in Sastra University and at least 90+ percentage in your class 12th board examinations to consider sure admission in Sastra University.

fURTHER, To know more about the JEE mains Cutoff, you can follow the below mentioned link : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff

To know about your chances of admissions in other colleges, you can follow the below mentioned link to know more : https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=jee_cp

I hope that this will help.
