ApplyRanked amongst top 3% universities globally (QS Rankings).
Hi Niha,
70% seats are filled through university level counselling based on marks obtained in class 10+2 and rank obtained in JEE Mains.
Selection parameter and weightages:
10+2 marks - 75%
JEE Mains - 25%
The remaining 30% seats are filled by the university based on the marks obtained in class 10+2.
Hope this helps.
All the best.
Hello Dear,
Yes, you can do BCA in future.it doesn't matter you have Bio group in 12th board.there are many colleges/universities in India that take admission Directly.
good luck
Hi Movies,
In addition to board percentage, you have to clear the cut off for SASTRA University in TS EAMCET, only then you get admission.
Thank you and best of luck.
Hey
You need to check the university website .
Thanks
Hello,
Sastra University take admission by two ways, 70% of seats are filled on the basis of the Jee score and 12th marks in which 75% weightage is given to the 12th marks and 25% weightage is given to the Jee score. Rest 30% seats are filled on the basis of candidates normalized aggregate marks of 12th only.
So, majorly to get admission in this university you have to score more in 12th. According to your rank it is difficult to get admission.
All the best

Hi Viswaa,
Your query is quite generic to answer as it is hard to make out what you are asking for. Do comment back with more details and i would help you out.
Thank you and best of luck.
Hey,
See, 60 is not too good score in JEE Mains but if you compare your score with others in your city it may be approximately same. With your score, you can surely get an engineering college. Don't expect NITs or other government colleges, but you can get a decent college in your own city or maybe of your state. It's all relative so you don't need to worry much. First, fill JoSAA application form and also the form of your state counselling. There are also some private colleges which offer admission through JEE Mains. You should also try some of the open private colleges which take the open test like VIT ,SRM, BITS and UPES. You may also try for open universities like DU which offers admission on the basis of your board's score. Don't feel disheartened, you have so many options and also you are having a decent score in Mains, you should surely get a good college.
All the best.
I really like this colleges based on placement based on my optionion you can join our college. Little bit strict but that’s Okk. In our college infrastructure is better I’m currently doing my Bsc degree in sastra university
My experience with this college is a mixed one ..The infrastructure of the university is good and is the most remarkable for the computing programs The research facilities here are top notch with fully equipped Labs and great professors (not all but a few ones are very experienced and influential in their field..other buildings are average and there is a wifi facility available 24/7 for laptops..no cycle is available ..The food is good..but everything has its bad days too..the form is quite clean
laboratories for bio tech and other related departments are very good and high tech here. Hostels are non ac full vegetarian, managable. wifi is 24/7 available. the environment is good for studying here.
