BSc Biotechnology in Amrita University is better than BTech Biotechnology in SRM University is good for research. BSc Biotechnology in Amrita University has good Scope for research. Amrita University has good placements than SRM University. Around 95 % student placed in Amrita University. Highest Package offered by amrita University is 50 LPA and Average is about 4-5 LPA. Amrita University has good infrastructure, Facilities of Amrita University is good. faculty are well - experienced and friendly in nature.

Most of the students opt for higher studies in btech biotechnology.However the college offers good placements in IT sectors.Many students opt for it but the placement percentage of the college is not that great cause most of them opt for higher studies.Placements are provided in renowned companies like Capegmini,Cognizant,TCS,Wipro etc.Placement percentage is around 60-70 percent.

SRMJEE Phase 1 will be conducted in remote proctored mode from May 23rd 2021 and will continue till May 24th 2021 so you have to appear for it from your home using your smart phone or laptop or any PC. And the guidelines are now released by the authorities regarding the remote proctored test and according to the guidelines you can appear for SRMJEE 2021 using only one device that is either your laptop or your smart phone but make sure that device should have front camera and in laptop if there is no camera then you connect a web cam with it because you will be invigilated by the proctor allotted to you in your slot. If you are considering research to be your path for life them you should opt for academic degree courses that is Bsc, msc and then further PhD in biotechnology rather than choosing btech which is more technical in nature and is a professional degree course. In terms of ranking or preference, all the listed colleges are more or less the same cause all of them are private ones with decent labs and faculty available.

For a Career in Research in Biotchnology, you ultimately need to pursue a PhD for better research prospects and career scope. You may perhaps pursue BSc.+MSc. Both universities are very good. Manipal University is NAAC aggregate grade A college and other hand SRM University also NAAC aggregate grade A++ college.

Now come to your course. BSC Biotechnology is 3 years bachalor of Science course. BTech Biotechnology is 4 years engineering degree course. In between this two for research purposes you can choose BTech Biotechnology. Because this course open up so many chances in future study as well as job. Now choice is totally yours.
