Among these, if you want to choose the best engineering college, it should be BITS Pilani. Among these colleges I consider Vellore Institute of technology to be the best since it provides fantastic placements and excellent faculties.Faculties are well learned and extremely helpful.More than 95% students get placement from this college every year.The highest package offered is 34 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Amazon, Google, Microsoft, etc., companies offer placements. Around 80% of the students got internships in Amazon, Google, TCS and Microsoft. SDE.Infrastructure is quite good over here.

I am sorry to say that you can't get admission in SRM through your JEE mains percentile. For admission to B.tech programmes of SRM you need to appear for SRMJEE. SRM does not take admission through JEE mains rank list. SRMJEE is a 2 hours 30 minutes online exam which comprises of 125 questions, from physics, chemistry, mathematics, english and aptitude each carrying one marks.

Well among the two, JSS medical college will be a better option for medical genetics as compared to SRM. Although SRM is a university but JSS has a lot better faculty members and also good lab facilities and focused coursework for the subject. The teaching methods are also very apt for the subject. Going with JSS would result in better performance in your bachelor program cause it has lot to offer. Also SRM is not a bad choice either but the faculty of JSS is better.

SRM University entrance exam cutoffs vary from year to year, campus to campus and branch to branch. It is based on difficulty of the paper, number of candidates appearing in the exam, previous year's cut-off marks, number of seats available, average marks etc. Many students write this exam. There are no fixed marks but during SRMJEEE counselling, the authorities shall announce the range of marks for the admission process to take place.
