SRM University entrance exam cutoffs vary from year to year, campus to campus and branch to branch. It is based on difficulty of the paper, number of candidates appearing in the exam, previous year's cut-off marks, number of seats available, average marks etc. Many students write this exam. There are no fixed marks but during SRMJEEE counselling, the authorities shall announce the range of marks for the admission process to take place.

In south private colleges I would not recommend you to take up core branches as the placement stats are not at all entertaining and people end up unplaced. So you should take up non core engineering if you are taking in some private college. But if you want to know still , I would recommend you to take the srm mai campus.

For VIT,

VIT doesn't accept JEE MAINS percentile score.VIT is a private institute and accept admission in Engineering only through its own entrance exam called VITEEE (Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam). You can fill up the VITEEE form till 30th March 2021, Exams are going to be from June 18 2021.


For SRM,

SRM is also a private university and like VIT it conducts its own entrance exam called SEMJEE you want to take admission in SRM UG course such as B.De then you don't need to appear for SRMJEE but if you are willing to take admission into UG course like B.Tech then you have to appear for SRMJEE, otherwise you can't take admission in SRM for B.Tech. SRM don't consider JEE MAINS score for B.Tech. You can fill the form for SRMJEE till May 15th 2021.

SRM UNIVERSITY KATTANKULATHUR  offers b.sc  nursing course of  4 years duration. Eligibility criteria is Candidate must have passed H.S.C/10+2 or equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Botany as mandatory subjects  and score minimum 50% marks aggregate in relevant subjects. Candidate must complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission. In light of students review after completing the nursing course students are placed in private hospitals or do internship.

The SRM, amravati and WOXSEN University, Hyderabad are private university, both the universities are accredited by UGC and AICTE.

WOXSEN University is  good for MBA, and the SRM University is good for Btech/B.E.

The fees is higher in WOXSEN University in comparison to SRM.

The infrastructure, campus life and curricular have similar ratings and college environment is rich in both the colleges.

It totally depends on you which one you prefer according to your requirements.

In general both universities are good in their own way.

SRMIST has released the application form for SRM Joint Engineering Entrance exam 2021 on December 12. The authorities shall conduct SRMJEEE 2021 from June 11 to 16, 2021. SRMJEEE application form 2021 is available online at srmist.edu.in and the last date to apply is May 31. SRMJEE 2021 will be conducted in online mode.  Class 12 students are eligible to apply for SRM entrance exam. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes and the subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Aptitude. Objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) are asked and One mark is given for the correct answer. No negative marking.

But you should have good score to join in SRM Institute of Science & Technology, Chennai as it is one of the top Private University in Chennai. It is convenient for Biotechnology course as many students from that field are happy with the college than JSS University. Amity global business school is a private college in Chennai. It was established 2009. Its AICTE approved college. Due to research infrastructure is small of this college. But classroom are all air conditioner. Library are available always. Free WiFi access in whole campus. Faculties are good and well educated. Highest package of salary 17 lakh per annum. Average salary is 6 lpa.

SRM IST is private college in Ramapuram, Chennai. It's a very reputed college. So many courses are offered here. NIRF rank in 2020 for MBA 76 to 100. This is NAAC affiliated college. Now come to the infrastructure which is small. But all classes are fully air conditioner. WiFi accessible campus. Highest package of salary 8 lakh per annum and lowest is 3 lakh per annum.
