Amrita Vishwa Veedyapitham Banglore campus is an UGC, AICTE approved and NAAC accredited grade A college.

It offers B.Tech programs at the UG level. At the PG level, the campus offers M.Tech, MBA-MS collaborative program, M.Sc. and MA courses. The admission to B.Tech Courses are given based on AEEE examination conducted by Amrita. The basic eligibility criteria required for B.Tech is that the candidate should have passed 10+2 board examination with at least 60% marks and should have a valid AEEE score.

If you are interested in computer science, Amrita University’s Amritapuri campus is a good choice. The placement is good and there are many events for CSE. First of all congratulations on your results and best of luck for other results too ! So as you should know , seats as well as basic tuition fees of almost all colleges have been risen , including SRM .

As per the news , the tuition fees for Cat-A ( B.Tech in I.T ) is now 2.5 LPA from 2.15 LPA . Apart from this 20k of career development is a must . I think this 2.5 LPA includes this . The latter didn’t .

Hostel fees should be near 1.25 LPA for non-AC and AC is 2.80 LPA for Nelson Mandela .

Hostel booking facility 2020 for freshers  will open 4 - 5 days ahead of commonencement of classes.

Classes opening schedule will be updated soon .

Inline enrollment is necessary for hostel booking. Only those students who have paid full tuition fees will be allowed for hostel booking.

Hostel fees will be paid online.

or, 200-229 expected rank will be 9000-5000

Generally CSE get's over at 5500-6000 rank only but after that there are various categories ehrough which you can get CSE if not in Chennai Campus then surely Ramapuram.

You should get CSE in Srm Chennai Main Campus under category B for your Rank . Keep other options open too . You can get other core branches in Chennai Ramapuram or Chennai Vadaplanni under category A also.

Hello student. Both these colleges have equal share of good rankings in terms of placements and faculty. But SRM ranks a bit higher in terms of exposure and opportunities. So, if you get a good branch in SRM ktr branch, I would suggest you to go for it. As a second option, you can have this dayananda sagar university

JIIT is a great UNiversity with 100% placements .JIIT was well able to hand offers to all students who SAT for placements in the year 2019.The course curriculum is excellent. JIIT is known for its above 100% placement.

The cutoff for SRM chennai campus in 2016 was 10000 for Computer Science and engineering. By going with this trend, your rank may lead you to other campuses of SRM if you want CSE only. However, you can also opt for IT branch in chennai campus and study there only. Moreover, don't rely on past trends much because the trends may not apply to this year's situation. So better wait for the results of spot counselling! And keep an option handy too!
