Generally CSE get's over at 5500-6000 rank only but after that there are various categories ehrough which you can get CSE if not in Chennai Campus then surely Ramapuram.

You should get CSE in Srm Chennai Main Campus under category B for your Rank . Keep other options open too

The cutoff for SRM chennai campus in 2016 was 10000 for Computer Science and engineering. By going with this trend, your rank may lead you to other campuses of SRM if you want CSE only. However, you can also opt for IT branch in chennai campus and study there only.
