To get admission in VIT or SRM you have to qualify JEE mains exam . This universities take admission on the basis of the 60% based on JEE main score and 40% based on intermediate score .

You have very good score in intermediate . so if you have equivalent score in the JEE mains then you can surely get admission in these colleges .

The SRMJEEE 2020 exam has been cancelled due to COVID 19 situation.

If we talk about counseling session, it'll be starting from third week of August.

SRM will release the official notification soon about their rank list.

Both srm and Vit are famous colleges in India they conduct their own online exams SRMJEE and VITEEE, But due to this pandamic we can expect the admission through jee and state board exam marks but we have to wait and see for the official notice from the colleges.if they provide admission on jee and state board marks, depending on the competition of the students who apply for the college for the cse branch we can decide the weather we get seat or not. Firstly when we get the official notice apply for the respected branch. There will be more chances to get seat in any one college.

Yes, SRMJEEE counseling will be starting from August, week 2 or week 3 and it'll be done in both ways, online as well as offline simultaneously.

Candidates who's name will appear in SRMJEEE Merit list are eligible to participate for counseling process.

VIT

Vellore Institute of Technology will conduct the VITEEE 2020 counselling for admission in the UG engineering course. As VITEEE 2020 has been cancelled, candidate's score in class 12 or similar qualifying examination will be used for admission.The VITEEE counselling 2020 will be conducted in offline mode and allotment will be done as per the merit secured. Candidates seeking admission are advised to reach counselling venue on scheduled time and date.

Board exam score i.e. 12th percentage is eligibility criteria for the college.  JEE mains score/ rank is selection criteria which when comes in range of any branch option you have given in the counselling form, you will get the college offer in the counselling round.

In other entrance exam like KEAM , both 12th and entrance score is considered in equal weight-age to calculate the final score and rank.

for JEE main, NTA calculates your rank from your score and considering other factors to make rank list.

so, to become eligible for SRMIST, 12th percentage is important and to get admission/seat, JEE score/rank is important.
