Although the University library is still in its infancy, over the past year aggressive efforts are underway to make the Library a center for learning, information, and resource.

The University conducts an annual Intra-University Sports meet called ATHLON. The various Schools of Study are divided into different groups and enter a healthy competition. A variety of field, track, and team events are conducted for the students to take part in. The sports field acts as a living classroom for these students to learn the lessons of life. Also, students are encouraged to participate in competitions. The students learn to value healthy competition and the spirit of participation.

The University has well-equipped laboratories for Basic Sciences and Life Sciences. The laboratories fully support experiments related to organic, inorganic, and biological assays and tests. The Physics lab has the prerequisites for experiments based on light, motion, wave, etc. to train students in consonance with their theoretical coursework.

The University transport facility caters to students who want to commute from home. Out of the two buses, one runs from Rangpo and the other from the Burtuk area. Along the route, there are various pick-up points for the students, and the fee is charged accordingly.

The University primary aim of the Placement & Training Cell at Shri Ramasamy University, Sikkim is to provide a platform for students to ensure that a maximum number of students receive a head start in their careers. The cell is active throughout the year and placement officers and department coordinators guide students at various levels. The untiring effort of PAT Cell has ensured an increasing list of companies to recruit students.
